I have never been in love with a girl before, but I am totally crushin’ on Lauren Froderman, from this season of So You Think You Can Dance! Her last solo in Vegas week was UH-MAZING! Go check it out here : ) awww, love! haha I’m callin’ it now, mark the date, she’s the winner!

I leave for CA on Wednesday! I am so excited, and cannot wait : ) I get to go spend time with all my family, and enjoy 4 weeks of pool, lake, and summer fun! Sniggs is pretty stoked too – yay!

I am loving the new 4×8 Accordion Books from Mpix Pro – they are so cool! And to make them even better, Jamie Schultz has fabulous templates! I made this one for a sample, and have already sold 3 since I got this one in! Everybody loves them!!

I have been interested in Interior Design for a long time now, if I wasn’t a photog I definitely know that is what I would be doing, I just love it so much! Anyway, I’ve been looking around on design blogs a lot more lately, and I came across the coolest site ever! Copy Cat Chic She shows you all these amazing pieces that are super expensive, then where you can get pretty much the same piece, only cheaper – way cool! Go check it out

I had a “very proud of myself” moment this week – I did the 300 workout! I rocked it out like a pro, so very very tough!! I used 65lbs for my dead lifts though, boy I wish I could do 135! haha

How the heck are you supposed to fold a fitted sheet?

I am a little frustrated with Millers today, I had to reprint one file twice! I sent off a whole order for printing, and one of the photos printed in a few different sizes came back all blown and blotchy. I do not let Millers color correct, so I called and asked them to re-print it. They said they would print it color corrected since it was a black and white, and that might help, so I said fine. The next day it arrived way worse, so so dark!! Ugh, I called and asked them to just reprint it without any corrections, and that the file was good. So, they put that in and I got it today looking fabulous : ) I just don’t understand why it wasn’t printed like that the first time, all 3 print runs where from the exact same file, so I just don’t get why they all looked sooooo different. In the end the whole process started Tuesday and ended today though, so thank Heaven for their turn around time!! Just a little frustrated, wanted to vent, thanks for the ear, haha

I’m drinking hot chocolate right now, I never thought I would want hot cocoa in the middle of Spring/Summer, but hey, I guess that’s what I get for living in VA! It could be worse, right?! Ahhh, the tortures of thunderstorms, lol

Not every session is perfect….

But, I do pretty much always end up with at least a few good photos…

I am officially starting a line of fine art products : ) I’m really excited! I will create my own art for sale, or you can contact me for a custom job, if you’re looking for something specific. Anything you can think of, flower art in certain colors/styles, vintage car photos for a kids room, glassware for the kitchen, really anything, just name it : )

Miss Ava here is 6 months old now, I can’t believe it! I think my first year program babies grow too fast, it’s not fair! I had so much fun spending the afternoon with her though, she is all kinds of fabulous, such a little doll! She was posing for me left and right, and not only did it make my job easy, it was hilarious, haha!

Anyway, here’s the sneak peek, be careful, she’s really cute ; )
